The Falcon Art Community grows a national reputation as an incubator for the careers of great artists, whose work combines craftsmanship and vision. The Falcon Art Community provides highly sought-after studio space to established and emerging artists whose work and dialectic provide meaningful dialog for its members. The Falcon Art Community offers classes, internship and residency opportunities that strongly enhance the work and resumes of participating artists, through the reputation of its stable of teachers and established artists and with the energy of its emerging artists. Falcon artists are inspired by their studio space, supported in their careers and find new opportunities to connect with patrons, galleries and sales of their work or services through their participation in the Falcon Art Community.

The Falcon Art Community exists to provide an inspiring atmosphere for the creation of new artistic works, with an emphasis on supporting the artist, while fostering their talents and integrating their work into the greater art community in Portland and beyond. Falcon artists are encouraged to seek out and nurture community alliances as well as career opportunities. The Falcon Art Community seeks to be a strong partner to its artists and the broader art community in Portland. The Falcon was founded on the idea that art is integral to quality of life, that art and artists thrive in vigorous community where ideas have an opportunity to cross-pollinate to foster collective inspiration, and exposure to art is a joy that should be available to all.
